WELCOME TO SCRAPPY WOODWORKS

I'm SETH.

The name "scrappy" didn’t come from a long lineage of woodworkers; it came from the way I approach everything I do—resourceful, driven, and always willing to figure things out as I go.

Growing up, I wasn’t building furniture or working in a shop. I spent my high school years working in concrete and raising sheep—learning the value of hard work and getting my hands dirty. When I went to the University of Nebraska, I earned my degree and worked in various trades, picking up skills and lessons along the way.

Woodworking didn’t come into my life until later. Once I started experimenting with it, though, I felt something click. There’s a raw honesty in working with wood—the grain, the imperfections, the uniqueness of every piece—that felt different than anything else. It was like I found the medium I’d been looking for all along.

That’s the Scrappy Woodworks way."

You bring the idea.

A table for family dinners, maybe a bookshelf for your favorites.

I refine the vision.

Wood type, size, finish, every detail crafted to fit your space.

I build it by hand.

No mass production, just patience and precision.
